NBC has negotiated a lucrative deal with the International Olympic Committee to ban Americans from watching the live online video feeds to PCs and mobile phones that much of the rest of the world will enjoy free of charge. The purpose is to artificially force Americans to watch Olympic coverage on TV and endure NBC's horrible coverage. Worse, Olympic footage will be available at a later date, but Americans will have to pay. Only people with a Visa card -- a major NBC advertiser -- will be allowed to pay for the delayed video.
