Cingular Wireless lies to customers about the quality of its service. Now it's lending you their expertise in fibbing to help you escape bad dates. A new publicity stunt service called "Escape-A-Date" allows you to schedule what they call a "rescue" phone call at a specific time. The call plays one of eight recorded messages that guides you through a falsehood to trick your date into thinking that you have an emergency.
