LG Electronics is reportedly planning a six-megapixel camera phone. You'll be able to take pictures with enormous, two-megabyte file sizes that still look like crap because you're using a tiny, cheap lens.

Newest Extreme Roller Coaster Concept: An Industrial Robot On Wheels




A new roller coaster concept was demonstrated in Orlando last week. Called the RoboCoaster G2, it's basically a giant industrial robot that throws people around -- while the robot accelerates irresponsibly on high-speed rails. Who wants to be the first human in the trial?



Forget the Prius - Panasonic Car Runs On Two AA Batteries



Panasonic has created a car called OxyRide that runs on two AA batteries. The car weighs barely 40 pounds and can go about three-quarters of a mile with a 110-pound passenger powered by just two of the company's Digital Xtreme Power disposable AA camera batteries. In fact, the car's sole purpose is to promote those darn batteries.



Exploding Cell Phones Hit U.S., 3 Recalls So Far

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has received some 83 complaints about exploding cell phones -- usually caused by bad batteries -- and the rate of incoming complaints is growing. The commission has launched three battery recalls this year, one from Verizon and two from Kyocera. One of the Kyocera recalls was caused by that company using faulty batteries. The other two were the result of counterfeit batteries introduced into stores by shady distributors.

A wristwatch created by a designer/artist named Crispin Jones speeds up the time or slows it down based on your stress level. It monitors your stress using two skin contacts. The more stressed you are, the faster time passes.
