Tokyo University propellerheads have created a robot hand with sensors that can detect tiny "deformations" and small vibrations of a surface. It can "feel" pressure and can grab and hold breakable objects without breaking them. The robot hand will be unveilied April 6 at Sensor Expo Japan 2005 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.
