The article linked to here perfectly desribes an installation of Flash Linux. It's very probable that the "private partition" is really provided by encfs.
And it's not a "computer" on a stick. It's a bootable partition on a stick, something that has existed for a while. I love how companies take open-source software, install it for you, call the product something it's not, and then charge you $100 extra for it.
