

The next version of the Robosapien toy robot, called the V2, is a lot bigger than the old version and comes with new abilities. For example, it can throw things at you and sit down. Gates' CES Keynote Plagued With Bugs, Errors
The CES keynote by Microsoft Chief Software Architect Bill Gates was once again plagued by problems. A new game demo produced the famous "blue screen of death," and a Windows Media Center PC served up the famous "blue screen of death." Gates also reportedly referred to Carly Fiorina as the CEO of TI.
Korean Researchers Invent Copycat Robot

Long accused of copying Japanese robots, Korean researchers have finally invented a robot that does something unique. It copies. The yet unnamed robot watches its "master" and copies everything he does. And just like that dog in the old Gramophone ads, it recognizes it's "master's" voice. The robot can also walk and do other advanced movements.
InPhase Develops Holographic Disc Drive
A company called InPhase has reportedly developed a holographic disc drive that the company plans to commercialize. The technology will initially enable drives with capacities as high as 1.6 terabytes. Yeah, terabytes with a "t."
