A study at King's College, London, found that e-mail users experience a 10 percent decrease in IQ, which is twice the drop induced by smoking marijuana. E-mail also induces lethargy, an inability to focus and some other stuff I don't remember, or whatever.
Don't look now, but it's looking like the American mobile carriers are out to shaft you once again by preventing you from ever getting a Motorola iPod phone. But will it become available in Europe?
Mac Cultists Atwitter Over Discovery: Windows Ads Made With Macs
Apple fans immediately poured over the metadata for images associated with Microsoft's new 15-month "Start Something" campaign and discovered that -- SHOCK! -- they were apparently created with the -- HORROR! -- Mac version of Photoshop. Forcing your ad agency to use a specific OS while creating your ad is the kind of thing Apple would do, not Microsoft. A robotic dentist's drill made by the Israeli-based company Tactile Technologies is currently being tested on (brave) humans in the U.S. and Europe. The creepy contraption works by being clamped to your jaw. Then it drives a needle through your gums until it strikes bone. I'm outraged that a tech journalist has sunk to such depths of ethical bankruptcy (and also pretty upset that I never got such payments).
An organization called the Computer Take Back Campaign has identified Apple Computers as the only major tech company that has not developed a recycling policy for iJunk. It has such policies abroad, but not in the United States. UPDATE: Jobs strikes back!

'Pope-squatters' Grab Domains, May Get Big Bucks From Porn Sites
These guys are going to hell: Domain squatters quickly bought domains related to the new Pope, Benedict XVI, hoping to turn around and sell them -- most profitably to porn sites.
